We as human beings are an essential part of nature; but still we easily forget where we are from and try to invent new and different ways to solutions to our problems, such as health issues. We are constantly coming up with new pharmaceutical drugs to treat various types of diseases with very HARMFUL side effects; did you know that there isn’t one pharmaceutical drug (with or without prescription) that does not warn about its harmful side effects?
How can people want to risk their life over a digestive pain killer? Or thin their blood (Aspirin) because of a headache? I guarantee that if you go right now to your medicine cupboard and open it and pick out any random pharmaceutical medicine, you will find that the side effects for even simple headache pills are extreme; from vomiting to upset stomachs and even possible death!
We need to realize that if we came from nature; all answers will be from nature. Pharmaceutical companies know this secret, which is why they study herbs and natural substances and try to replicate their effects with a chemically made drug; so they can patent it and charge a high price!
Healing need not be expensive; you just need to look at nature and find the answers. 25% of pharmaceutical drug ingredients are derived from plants! Nature already has the necessary materials for normal living and healing, so why look elsewhere and create complicated ways to solve simple issues?
Herbal supplements are now becoming more and more popular because of the reasons already mentioned in the paragraph above. As such, there have been countless studies performed on the therapeutic benefits and applications of various types of herbs and herbal extracts. This is why it is of even more importance that we take minerals and vitamins via supplements as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

This is a recommended intake to fully get all your nutrition; however due to lack of time or simple laziness, the average Joe does not eat 6-9 portions of vegetables; so it is a great way to make up for the loss of nutrition using supplements along with a balanced diet.
